Dipasupil Meat Products
Dipasupil Meat Products started when spouses Policarpio & Patricia Dipasupil made longanisa in their meat stall at the Baguio City Market, Baguio City, Philippines in 1950. They introduced two varieties of Longanisa: De Hamon – with sweet ham-like flavor and De Recado – with garlic and spices.
Over the years, the family improved on the original recipe which has evolved into the famous Baguio Longanisa. The products are made with only pure, lean pork and without any extenders, fillers nor binders. The carcinogenic ingredients found in regular longanisa specifically, sodium nitrite, food coloring and MSG are totally eliminated but, to keep freshness, the longanisa are vacuum packed and frozen right after processing.
