Edna and Rebecca's Banana Chips & Coated Peanuts
Edna and Rebecca’s Banana Chips & Coated Peanuts had its humble beginnings at their very own house. Their first product was the coated and salted peanuts. They’ve attended her brother’s wedding at Iloilo and bought this pasalubong for their kids and then tried making it when they got home. Their first market was the public school of her kids. Since it was patronized well, she tried to supply to other public schools and some sari sari and cooperative stores like SIDCI.
In order to support their everyday living, she thought of another way on how to sustain the needs of her family. Thankfully, a good friend of them taught them on how to make banana chips. It was 2004 when they first tried making banana chips with 50 pieces green banana (saba variety). Their products became in demand and well-knowned
In 2010, their application in Food and Drugs Administration was approved. Since then, their products entered larger markets. They are supplying now to different companies in Luzon, most especially in Metro Manila. They have joined exhibits and trade fairs in and outside the country. They have acquired also the Robinsons Supermarkets and Rustans Supermalls.
Our company is into manufacturing of crispy banana chips and coated peanuts. We supply the market with crispy chips packed in 100, 130, 200 and 300 grams that can last for 6 months and above. We have different varieties available like no sugar added, sweetened, cheese, garlic, sour & cream flavor. We replaced damaged products due to delivery.
Nowadays, people become more health conscious that even schools have discouraged the selling of junk foods inside the campus. This change in lifestyle and outlook is a good opportunity for my business to target both kids and adult for letting them to try our products for substitute to junk foods since banana chips and coated peanuts have a nutritional value.
