Employees Retraining Board

The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) is an independent statutory body established in 1992 under the Employees Retraining Ordinance. The ERB co-ordinates, funds and monitors training courses and services that are market-driven and employment-oriented so as to meet the changing needs of the employment market. The ERB has appointed about 90 Training Bodies with around 400 training centres across the territory to provide training courses and services. The ERB offers around 700 training courses straddling nearly 30 industries.

Go eCommerce is an online platform that both Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation andSME Corporation Malaysia developed together. It serves as an active learning platform and hub that acts as a comprehensive guide for all SMEs who are keen to explore and build their businesses via eCommerce.

The aim of Go eCommerce is to enable and empower SMEs to channel or diversify their businesses digitally. The digital marketplace is vast and vibrant - trading activities are not limited by geographical boundaries and is open twenty four-seven - making it an extremely viable business direction that most SMEs must make.

It also comes with a specially made SME Readiness Tool feature where members are able to obtain information in an instant and find out what level they are at. It is also programmed to aid SMEs in choosing the best solutions, according to the tailored needs of each and every company.

The National Institute of the Entrepreneur is a decentralized administrative body of the Ministry of Economy, which aims to implement, implement and coordinate the national policy of support for entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium enterprises, promoting innovation, competitiveness and projection in the national and international markets to increase their contribution to economic development and social welfare, as well as contribute to the development of policies that promote culture and business productivity.

Philippine Trade Training Center

The Philippine Trade Training Center is mandated to develop training modules on export and import techniques and procedures; to raise the level of awareness of Philippine businessmen on export opportunities and the availability of alternative sources of import products or diversified markets for export; to offer specialized courses for specific industry groups directed at overcoming barriers to overseas market penetration; and, to conduct training programs in international trade practices, inspection techniques and exhibition mounting.

SME Training Programs

JSC RSMB Corporation in 2016 formed with the involvement of Russian non-governmental organizations operating in the field of business support and higher education, two (2) training programs: (1) "The ABC of an entrepreneur" (creating a business from scratch); and, (2) "School of Entrepreneurship" (business development).

In addition to the two training programs, the Corporation developed a set of modules for the most relevant topics for entrepreneurs, including the existing measures to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).


Support and Consultation Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises

Support and Consultation Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises (SUCCESS) is run by the Trade and Industry Department in collaboration with various industrial  and trade organizations, professional bodies, private enterprises and other government departments to provide small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with business information and consultation services free of charge.




The TradeStart network is an extension to Austrade's own offices and is delivered in partnership with State, Territory and local governments, industry associations and chambers of commerce.
